    Today we launched Stack READMEs in the Pulumi Service 📖 You can now generate dynamic READMEs for each stack in a project, referencing stack outputs in the README to do things like: • Construct urls dynamically (ie
    <http://console.aws.amazon.com/console/instances/{outputs.instanceID}|console.aws.amazon.com/console/instances/{outputs.instanceID}>
    ) • Create inline documentation and shell commands
    > aws kinesis get-records {outputs.kinesisStream.ARN}
    • Link to alarms, dashboards, and other cloud resources created within your program. The README gets created and kept up to date automatically for every stack when you run
    pulumi up
    and can be viewed in the Pulumi Service. https://www.pulumi.com/blog/stack-readme/ Join us in #pulumi-service and as always feel free to submit feedback and open issues via https://github.com/pulumi/service-requests/issues

    Getting 404 error on this page that is supposed to provide access to 100 level recorded session on IaC/Pulumi. Is there similar content if this is no longer available? https://www.pulumi.com/resources/getting-started-with-infrastructure-as-code/

    <!here> Hello friendly Pulumi Community! Next week (August 1st - August 5th), Pulumi is observing a company wide wellness week. Many Pulumi employees will be taking the week off to regroup after a busy few quarters filled with exciting announcements. During this time, responses by Pulumi employees may be delayed in this community support forum and on GitHub. The Pulumi Service and Pulumi support is fully staffed and will continue to operate as usual. We’ll see you all after a refreshing break! Thanks! The Pulumi Team

    hello, wonderful community! last quarter the user experience team worked on some usability improvements to the Pulumi Service UI. including making the organization navigation available on every page, displaying more data on organization dashboards, and a new favoriting feature that allows for quick access to your favorite stacks from any page. we included lots of smaller usability fixes as well. we are doing a beta release of this new experience. you can try it out for yourself by toggling the experience in the center of the top-black bar. during this beta period, we would love your feedback! over the next few weeks, we will be addressing your feedback ahead of releasing this experience as the default. you can thread feedback here, send me a dm, or fill out this survey. https://forms.gle/NcVhzeLmpzzrWypm7

    Hello folks! We’re excited to announce that we’ve launched a new Billing Manager role in the Pulumi Service which we hope will make it easier to manage billing operations around your resources. We know that a lot of times, the people in charge of managing billing information for your organization may be different from the people who manage your infrastructure. The Billing Manager role allows a user to have full access to billing information—allowing them to view payment history and update credit card information—without having any read or write access to stacks, policies, or other sensitive information. You can read more about the role in our blog post. And as always, please feel free to submit feedback and feature requests to https://github.com/pulumi/service-requests.

    Hi all. My name is Jonelle Boyd and I'm apart of the UX team here at Pulumi. The UX team is looking to make some updates to the Service UI which involve redesigning the Stacks list page and creating a new Resources page, and I am trying to find a couple of our users to interview who use these two areas frequently. This would really help us in assuring that we're considering our users needs and wants when designing for these updates. If you're interested, please DM me. Thanks for your help!

    Today we’re excited to announce new features at Cloud Engineering Day! Read the announcement blog post for an overview of everything that’s launched. 😛ulumipus-8bit:🎉 Pulumi Deployments (preview) is a new Deployments-as-a-Service technology that remotely executes your Pulumi program deployments in a secure, hosted environment. Use it in several ways: • Click to deploy from the Pulumi Service console • Git push to deploy by merging a pull request in GitHub • Call the new Deployments REST API 👉 Read more in the Pulumi Deployments blog post and sign up to get access today. Join #pulumi-deployments for more discussion. Pulumi YAML is now generally available. Use a simple declarative interface for accessing the full breadth of Pulumi infrastructure as code with full support for all Pulumi features and providers. 👉 Read more in the Pulumi YAML GA blog post. Pulumi now supports types in configuration and project-level configuration for projects & stacks. Now you can define project-level configuration that’s shared across multiple stacks. 👉 Read more in the Project Level Configuration blog post. Deploy common architectures faster than ever with new architecture templates. Templates provide out-of-the-box infrastructure as code that’s ready to deploy, with no configuration required, for Containerized Services, Kubernetes Clusters and Applications, Serverless Applications, Static Websites and Virtual Machines. 👉 Read more in the Pulumi Architecture Templates blog post. As always, please let us know if you have feedback or thoughts. 🙂

    ☁️ Happy re:Invent to those who celebrate 🎊! With that, we are excited to announce Crosswalk for AWS is now v1.0 and available in all languages! Crosswalk is a set of libraries that define infrastructure as code components that make it easier for you to spin up modern cloud architectures using well-architected best practices. Over 25% of all Pulumi AWS users have adopted at least one Crosswalk component for their infrastructure. What’s new in v1.0? • AWSX 1.0, EKS 1.0 and AWS API Gateway 1.0 • Now available in TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, Java, and YAML • Hundreds of new features, fixes, and improvements since originally launching in 2019 Why do people love Pulumi Crosswalk for AWS? • Simplifies creation of well-architected infrastructure using services like Amazon API Gateway, Auto Scaling, Amazon ECS and EKS, ELB, VPC, and more • Increases development velocity through reusable code with best practices already baked-in so that teams can build cloud applications even faster • Central to making the newly released Pulumi Architecture Templates simple, concise, and powerful 👉 Read the blog to learn more! As always, we welcome feedback and contributions to the GitHub repos pulumi-awsx, pulumi-eks, and pulumi-aws-apigateway that define the Crosswalk libraries.

    Today we launched OIDC support for Pulumi Deployments. It's easier than ever to configure short-lived credentials for every update. No cloud secrets required, fine grain control over auth, and no need to worry about rotating credentials. https://www.pulumi.com/blog/oidc-blog/ 🔐 🚀 This was our top requested features after launching Deployments in November and we're excited to see what you will build it! Today we removed the waitlist from Pulumi Deployments. It is now available for use within your organization and individual account. Pulumi Deployments continues to be free while it is in preview. You can configure deployments from the settings menu of any stack (you must be an admin to configure it within an organization). Here are some useful resources to get started: • Getting started documentation • Join the #pulumi-deployments channel • Pulumi Deployments examples repo • Deployments REST API documentation • Deployments + OIDC for secure temporary credential workflows Please submit any feature requests, bug reports, or feedback you may have to the service requests issue tracker. 🚀 Happy building! 🚀

    We've published a five minute video that shows just how easy it is to set up OIDC with #pulumi-deployments

    It has never been easier to ensure that every update in your organization is on the golden path with temporary, scoped credentials and security best practices.

    We had a regression in Pulumi 3.56.0 & 3.57.0 where an install of the latest version of a plugin, so without specifying a version explicitly, failed. We just released Pulumi v3.57.1 to fix this. Please upgrade to this version if you encounter HTTP 401 errors (not 403) on install of plugins. https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi/releases/tag/v3.57.1
