    Unfortunately all the changes to Nomad are to make it more Kubernetes -like, which is almost certainly a market losing decision, because anyone who wants something like Kubernetes will just use Kubernetes. The win for Nomad is explicitly not being Kubernetes.

    As far as I’m aware, Nomad makes enough money to wash its face from a profitability perspective, the question is whether it’s sufficiently profitable to make continued investment worthwhile. I would be surprised to see it disappear though, even if it doesn’t continue in the current form.
