Hello, can someone tell me why this guide (https://pulumi.io/reference/cd-gitlab-ci/) uses a
    setup.sh
Shell script for installing Pulumi instead of the official Docker image (https://hub.docker.com/r/pulumi/pulumi) ? Note : I believe the associated Dockerfile is here (https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi/blob/master/dist/docker/Dockerfile)

One more thing I don't get about DynamicProvider, when doing plum up I see diff: ~__provider and my resources gets update, even when the provider code didn't change

Would it be possible to get help transitioning my account from the per-stack to the per-user pricing?

Are there any guides on developing on the various
    pulumi-*
repos? For example https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-docker, I am trying to test some potential changes locally, running
    make test_fast
, but it does not seem to run against the local code.

is it possible to reference a remote pulumi stack (for example, in a different s3 bucket)?

Hi all, I just opened a PR that would allow for the option to lint all of your
    Dockerfiles
    at build time using the
    hadolint
tool. Very interested in feedback from both 😛ulumipus-8bit: employees and the general community on this idea. https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-docker/pull/89 https://github.com/hadolint/hadolint

How far away (roughly) is crosswalk for python? (@white-balloon-205?) Current customer is a python shop and not sure how open they are to nodejs.

Is there any way to use these types explicitly in a typescript pulumi program? https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-kubernetes/blob/master/sdk/nodejs/types/input.ts i.e.
    const securityContext: core.v1.SecurityContext = { ... }

Hello all! Stumbled across Pulumi last week when I was looking into Azure ARM vs Terraform, and so far absolutely love it. However, I’m currently blocked at deploying a CosmosDB container as there’s no documentation on how to do so and what I’ve tried with doesn’t get me far

Hi, I'm sure this is an obvious question but how do I use multiple typescript files for my program. I get if you have a separate cluster.ts file and if resources in the index.ts have a dependancy on it, then it gets deployed first. But if there is no dependancy from index.ts, how can I reference it? For example I want cert-manager.ts file alongside index.ts. How do I invoke cert-manager.ts?

I have a hard time to understand what is going on... I am doing Dynamic Provider and tried to write delete method, I got error:

So I thought that I am doing something wrong and got to empty delete method, changed the connectToServer function name to connectToServerNew (and all it calls in every places in code), but I am still getting exactly the same error...

I have seen that 'connectToServer' occurred in exported stack in pending operations, so I cleared them

I believe this have to be something really simple and it is me not understanding some basic Pulumi's concepts, so I would be grateful for suggestion what to do here 🙂

like, Python lambda with dependencies, I need to download the deps, assemble them into a environment, and either give the zip or the directory to pulumi

Hi everyone. Just wondering is there anyway to update environment variable of lambda function after it has been deployed ? I need to setup another AWS service's arn as environment variable but my lambda function create before it. I'll appreciate if someone can help me.

Hi all. when I create a secret from a file, it creates a huge encryption value of 3285 chars and throws a fatal error with pulumi up. I assume because of the size. Is there a way around this? The file was only a GCP service account. I need to encrypt that somehow. I've raised https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi/issues/2907 for this but would appreciate some feedback if possible.
