03/04/2024, 1:15 PMIMPORTANT: All arguments including the password will be stored in the raw state as plain-text. Read more about sensitive data in state. So my plan is to create a new user via Pulumi, go to the Mongo Web UI and update the password of this user. This works. Also after a redeployment the password doesn’t get updated (as long as the password in Pulumi code doesn’t change). But my question is: Is there a guarantee somewhere, that it doesn’t get updated if e.g. another property of the user gets changed? Can the current behaviour change? Is the current behaviour package dependent or general Pulumi behaviour, e.g. as long as it is not in the diff it doesn’t change?

package for the first time. I'm using the bulk import operation to import my snowflake state. Even though I execute the command once where I try to bulk import say 10 resources, each resource will authenticate my user twice (once for the preview and another for the import), so a total of 20 authentication sessions are opened via my external browser and I end up hitting a rate limit.

03/18/2024, 8:58 PMpulumi.Import(pulumi.ID(accessKey.AccessKeyId))
or building an ignoreList []string
and filling it with these key ids and feeding this list into pulumi.IgnoreChanges(ignoreList)
but neither prevents things from showing Pulumi is going to delete IAM keys that it had previously created.
The existing code was always doing an iam.NewAccessKey(...)
and now I'm not doing this if a key is found by querying iam.GetAccessKeys(...)
. I'm guessing this is related but the documentation I found around importing resources and coexistence didn't lead me beyond what I mention above. Any thoughts our suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
