With respect, I would argue all of that is way too much for "zero experience with android development". Before you can think about architectures and libraries and dependency injection, you need to learn Android. I'd highly recommend starting out with the basics, like Udacity's free Android course, which I've done with a few Study Jams with people who have programming experience, but not Android experience, and it's worked quite well: https://eu.udacity.com/course/android-development-for-beginners--ud837
