but the documentation is often still very sparse, so would be great to provide feedback which documentation efforts would be most relevant for the community to help prioritize related efforts?

Issues in the repo are likely the best way! Aside - curious if there is any specific reason you are focusing on AWS Native? We are still strongly encouraging users to use the AWS provider by default (it may be its own feedback on content that this may not be sufficiently clear!).
