Using AWS Crosswalk as per the docs (I think) I can bring up an EKS cluster without the default node group, created a node group, have it finish successfully but no node groups are shown in the AWS console, issue here: https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-eks/issues/1217 but if there's anything obvious.
