It's so painfully slow that I'm thinking of using a bash script for deploys with aws cli, and keep the current image tag in an s3 object. The larger pulumi project will be consistent because that too will fetch the current image tag from s3 to build the task definition so will be in sync. and then it will

dont run pulumi up unless you need to change any infra, container settings, app env etc
