Is there any better way rather the Pulumi REST API to interact with pulumi cloud?

the closest officially provided thing would be the <https://www.pulumi.com/registry/packages/pulumiservice/|Pulumi Cloud Service provider> (<https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-pulumiservice|source>)

I don't believe there's any officially supported libs that ingest and abstract over the official REST APIs.

There's also the <https://www.pulumi.com/docs/using-pulumi/automation-api/|Automation API> but it sounds like that's much more than what you want/need.
