Hey folks,
AWS recently announced the deprecation of two features used by Pulumi EKS: aws-auth ConfigMap and the AL2 operating system. This means users of pulumi-eks will need to make changes to their infrastructure in order to stay up to date with AWS recommendations.

We're working on adding support for AL2023 &amp; Bottlerocket (<https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-eks/issues/1195|GitHub issue>) right now.
You can already configure other authentication modes for your cluster. Support for this was released earlier this year in version <https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-eks/releases/tag/v2.6.0|v2.6.0>.
To ease the migration for you, we're gonna create guides and examples!

At the same time we're investing into aligning the provider with <https://aws.github.io/aws-eks-best-practices/|AWS EKS Best Practices>.
