I am really considering using renderToYamlDirectory

I see that <https://www.pulumi.com/registry/packages/kubernetes/api-docs/kustomize/v2/directory/#kustomize-directory-from-a-git-repo|kustomize/v2.Directory> does not support transformations, is this for some specific reason?

transforms is supported as a resource option

ahh then I should use Pulumi transforms as a kustomize transformers

yes, but they are not clear enough. I do not understand how can I change a resource that is generated by kubernetes.kustomize/v2.Directory
