This sounds odd. We have an `EventSubscription` in our CI tests and it works just fine

Do you have a complete example that I could run?

Working on this, I optimistically put it in our full deployment first. Now working on a small test set get it to work there.

I have a (newbie/quickstart) example that runs everything except for the EventGridSubscription - I also deployed a function in my subscription for it to bind to (named "EventGridFunction") <@UB39JFCKC>

For anyone reading here: it seems the scope argument had to point to the Storage ID instead of the SystemTopic ID...
