Thanks for letting us know.  We think there are DNS TTL issues afoot, but there could be something deeper and we are investigating.  Do you mind letting us know the result of `dig <http://pulumi.io|pulumi.io> NS` (assuming you have dig -- if not, I can supply a few other options)?
