What's the current level of GCP support? Will I be able to create a simple Cloud Function with HTTP trigger? (and maybe pub/sub?)

Overall GCP support is good.  For Functions in particular, see <https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-gcp/pull/12> which will be relevant here.  That PR should be merged soon - just pending upstreaming a fix for <https://github.com/pulumi/terraform-provider-google/issues/3>.
