It would be in the latest -dev release, but no stable release yet.  We’ll pick it up for the stable release we are working on now.

im willing to use the dev release. having a hard time figuring out where to specify `connectToRegistry`

If you are using `new docker.Image`, then the change in that PR is just that the `registry:` property is now optional.
