We recently changed this behavior such that the entire resource is exported. <@UB3BGTV63> / <@U87DZN4MT> / <@UB9JVTW07> do any of you know if that change has made it into a release yet?

I will export the pieces I need for now then!

the `CHANGELOG.md` in the root of pulumi/pulumi implies that it has been released, but that was due to an error when adding the feature, the wrong line was edited.

For reference <https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi/pull/2311>, which will be available soon. In the meantime exporting individual properties will work. 

FYI - the fix for this was part of the `0.16.10` release of the CLI that is now available.
