It appears that

nodeLocations

is merged into upstream GCP Terraform provider, but not yet in a released version: https://github.com/terraform-providers/terraform-provider-google/pull/3114 I assume this will be coming soon: https://github.com/terraform-providers/terraform-provider-google/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#230-unreleased

I’m actually trying to stand up our new production pulumi based cluster today, so I would like to switch to a regional cluster. I think I’ll have to tear it down later if I start as zonal because the change will be incompatible, so time is of the essence
