I’m saying that if you ask in the slack your input is likely to be lost. Slack is good for ad hoc conversations about acute problems and questions.

If you would like to inform the maintainers of how this affects you, you should put it in the issue so that it doesn’t get lost.

otherwise the team might miss your slack message — they’re a lot mor etransient.

So I just had a question on the timeline really and wouldn't add any value to the issue itself technically other than that I'm kind of blocked on this and need this functionality to implement some of the work Im currently doing

This issue was picked up today. We’re targeting a fix for it later this week
