yea, this is a bit of a non-starter for me. i can't introduce this to my team as a means to start using gitops since we already have a cluster full of resources.

ya, it didn’t look like this was doable (importing existing resources) certainly desirable and would aid the case for adoption.

That seems to be the case… darn, I’d love to move of our infra to Pulumi but this is a showstopper
