Our SaaS doesn't support self-hosted GitLab for SSO. This would require the self-hosted version of the Pulumi Console. GSuite SSO is available on the enterprise tier. Our guide for GSuite setup is at <https://www.pulumi.com/docs/guides/saml/gsuite/>.

If SSO is a requirement, then the Enterprise tier with GSuite is what I would recommend. If SSO is not a requirement, I recommend using Email as your signup option.
