The <https://www.pulumi.com/docs/reference/cli/pulumi_stack_select/|pulumi stack select> will let you select the stack that you want.

If you are seeing it disappear can you open a git issue for it?

hmm okay, i was able to do a stack select and get it to return with the resources and correct metadata
