The answer is whatever you want.
Some people use it purely for infrastructure, some people use it to deploy containers, some people use it to deploy serverless applications, including the code.
Whether that's a static website in S3 or a multi-cloud-provider microservice based architecture Pulumi can offer you the tools to be able to manage it

Thank you, @broad-dog-22463. Much appreciated! So far the documentation has been good enough to get me going, I've only stumbled now on an issue I mentioned in a message below - can't update AppSettings through pulumi, if you could help me with that it would be great
