`pulumi logs` is not yet implemented for GCP - which is most likely the root cause here - but I would not expect that to lead to an error. 

I expect if you get detailed diagnostics via <https://www.pulumi.com/docs/troubleshooting/#verbose-logging|https://www.pulumi.com/docs/troubleshooting/#verbose-logging> those would provide some additional context on what went wrong.

<@UB3BGTV63>, it was an IAM permissions issue, which I resolved, thanks for your input. What do you mean by pulumi logs is not implemented for GCP? because once I cleared up the permissions issue I can tail the logs using pulumi logs -f so it seems to be working
