Anything output by the various `pulumi.log` functions appear in the "Plan" column. So you could use `<http://pulumi.log.info|pulumi.log.info>("Starting Docker build");` and a similar "end" message. But to get the timing right, you might have to wrap the Docker provider in a dynamic provider? I've never tried...
