Hey Nathan, I don't think we have a plan like this on the roadmap. Would you mind sharing your use case?

Mostly to harmonise tool usage across the different levels of the stack. It's probably not a perfect fit for Pulumi though.

I have some strong frustrations around the existing tools in this space, but I don't think Pulumi will be extended into this space.

Now, if someone wanted to make a declarative API that ran on the host OS that we could configure with Pulumi....
