We're using the pulumi cloud as backend, so I'd assume that it could lookup if the stack reference is in use at least somewhere.

There's nothing builtin for this at the moment, but its something we're hoping to look into this year.

Hi, is this a general “side-effect” across any resources that Pulumi creates where there is a dependency between them? Is there a way to protect the dependent resources in the absence of a report indicating what would be impacted?
