Hello, all! Is this an appropriate channel for a major `pulumi up`/Python/AWS problem I’m having after having upgraded
pulumi-aws
from 2.13.0 to 4.1.0 ? My stacks will no longer update, even if I destroy/delete them first, and I get a long list of generic exceptions with “IndexError: list index out of range” at the end. Problem is regardless of which resource(s) are in a stack,
r
Are you using python 3.6?
e
I am using Python 3.6.8
Here’s what I get for every stack when I run pulumi up…

This is https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi/issues/6886 which was fixed last week but hasn’t been released yet.
r
justin said it before I could, but yes it’s been fixed and will be included in the next release. sorry for the trouble @early-rose-86563
e
Thanks! I’ll review the ticket. Maybe I can try changing my Python version or package versions while I wait for the release.
r
Yeah if you bump python version to 3.7+ you’ll be fine
e
Thanks to both of you. 🙂
