Hey folks, where do things stand with implementing Go generics?

Its all on hold for the time being. Last time it caused far too much memory pressure in the Go compiler for standard uses. Re-ran the benchmarks recently and nothing had improved. So yeh all on hold for the time being, the current design being too resource intensive, and the alternates proposed so far either not being backwards compatible or really difficult to work with.
