Hello Pulumi Community! :wave: I am on the community rotation this week and will be going through and responding to questions

question about databricks spark deployment.

I am trying to deploy a cluster into my own aws account/vpc, public subnets. But the ec2 vms have no public ip addresses, which causes deployment failures.

Are unable to assign public IPs to the EC2 instances for security or compliance reasons?

I don’t think so. One theory is that dbx spark clusters require private subnets. Is that true?
