I cannot login to the console at all, nor access cli functionality. Is this all due to the same incident? Pretty misleading status page...

if so would removing github as an idp fix these issues?  With githubs reliability issues, dont want my pulumi also being taken down in tandem

We used Github SSO way back, but migrated to Okta for sso years ago.

would you both DM me your Pulumi organizations? I can have ops do some investigating.

I feel like that's a bit unfortunate; ideally you temporarily lose functionality around IDP if github is down and that's it

yeah we try to cache IdP best we can but if the service is down, not much we can do sadly

wanted to follow-up here: when GH goes dark again, you will now receive a more informative error (429/503/504 and provider name) instead of the generic 500
