Creating resources within ApplyT can mean that the preview isn't always accurate. I wouldn't go as far to call this an anti pattern, but definitely a last resort.

any idea whether dynamic providers will be extended to golang? https://www.pulumi.com/blog/dynamic-providers/ i don't know how else to create a custom resource other than to resort to this & live with preview implications.
