when trying to deploy but in looks pulumi docs I see that it should be supported in kubernetes &gt;3.7.0

Am i misreading that and only some of the helm hooks are supported currently?

oh wait, I might have been using the .chart api instead of the .release...

<@U039726UKQA> looks like you already noticed, but `Release` will let you use hooks

Chart uses `helm template` to render the charts, which is client side
