Is this the right place to get support about my Pulumi account? We just enabled the GitLab Identity Provider on our org’s account and I completely lost access…

Did you also submit a support request recently? I can check in with folks and find out how quickly they can respond.

i did, i sent an email and then used the form… didn’t realize they go to the same place

they are 1558 and 1559, the latter has additional detail

hi <@U03FLKZGP3P> what identity were yall using before? can you sign in as you normally did before, then go to settings in your individual account (not the org), scroll down to the identities section, and then select the connect gitlab button? then try and access the org again.

okay then you should be able to sign in as normal with your email for the first step

hmmmmm, that means its already connected. go ahead and refresh anyway and try and access the org again.

i guess the other thing to check is if you are a member of the gitlab group

yes, i am a member of the group, i’m on there as an owner

so maybe this is it… i’m not a direct member of the gitlab group, i’m in this engineering group which is “assigned” to the group

hmm, maybe. can you add yourself directly to the group and see if that fixes it?

<@U03FLKZGP3P> we have identified the issue (<https://about.gitlab.com/blog/2022/04/18/gitlab-releases-15-breaking-changes/#oauth-tokens-without-expiration>) and are working on a fix.

we have a workaround we believe. if you sign in with gitlab instead of email or github does the org now appear in the menu? it may take a few seconds to show up.

yes, i’m able to access the swell org now

but i did get added to the root group in gitlab
