howdy 👋 trying to build a tf bridge provider, failing hard in the initial steps https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-tf-provider-boilerplate/issues/79 would appreciate any help
l
Hello @white-chef-55657, always willing to help. I’ll have a look at the issue.
Did the
make prepare
work correctly?
w
I think so, yes
I also then went and made all the manual chanages per the README and the nice video tutorial
@quiet-wolf-18467 @broad-dog-22463 🙏
@broad-dog-22463 ?
Anyone? No plans on fixing this ?
l
Hello @white-chef-55657, is it possible to make your repo at github.com/omercnet/pulumi-vercel public? I can help out by making a PR to your repo to resolve it for you at the moment.
w
Of course, done! Appreciate the help
I have a branch called vercel with the changes so far
l
ok, will send you a PR later today.
BTW, do let me know if you are interested to have it hosted & published under the Pulumiverse wings: https://github.com/pulumiverse
w
Absolutely would love to, once I get it working :)

@limited-rainbow-51650 Thanks for looking into this, it's a shame I won't be able to complete this deployment then.. any plans to support the new framework?
l
No, I don’t. Also, that new Terraform Plugin Framework is still under active development and can have breaking changes going forward. It’s hard for us to support a moving target.
b
If we are able to get any indiciation that this is a stable approach then we will 100% start working to support this but as Ringo said, it's active development. That document is a wonderful summary of the situation
w
Damn Thanks guys for the feedback
