Nice, you should be able to see “Deploy” now under stack settings! You also don’t need the GitHub App to be able to use Deployments API directly, it just needed for Push to Deploy in the console.

Yes exactly, the UI is talking about Push to Deploy which is configured via the GitHub App but you can specify your own source context when using Deployments API directly.
