It will probably solve itself with time. Maybe the caching mechanism in Chocolatey takes time to refresh?

@strong-match-67698 the chocolatey package isn’t built by us (Pulumi) but by a 3rd party. Our binary calls home to find out about newer releases, but not to the package manager which installed it. If this message annoys you, you can set the
PULUMI_SKIP_UPDATE_CHECK
