Still pretty new to Pulumi, and had a question about using a self-hosted backend. We've accumulated a large number of files in the history folder... can these safely be deleted if we don't care to use them?

History can be deleted but you'd lose the ability to rollback, i.e. import an older version, your stack's state. I'd suggest keeping the last few versions, that you think makes sense for your stack(s).
