can you please define "bootstrapping an AWS"? in general there should be no 'wish i did it this way if I could do it again' because you always can do it again, redo, redeploy, try in pre-prod environments etc there is nothing simpler than redo infra using IaC tooling

Can you elaborate a little bit on what you're trying to do? I think that would help folks provide some recommendations.
