Sorry probably not, I haven't been working on our Java support.
I do know the java api is currently not stable, so it's very possible the way that stack exports are done has changed between this tutorial being written and now.
I'll give our Java team a ping internally that these docs need to be updated.

though I saw it w.r.t to java, issue is equally applicable to others languages too as the code is expecting these properties..
