Has anyone gotten esc working with 1password? I put all the details in but the get credentials remains [unknown]

Yes, folks successfully use the 1password provider regularly. Would love more details on what issues you're hitting, what your environment configuration is, etc.

Figured it out with support. E.g. [unknown] - doesnt mean its borked - only means that you should go and do the actual open / get

Yep totally! The resolved value is unknown unless it's opened. Glad you got it working!

Seems like odd behavior though - I would expect it to read [secret] potentially - I assume they are all treated as secrets if synced with 1password?

The values resolved from dynamic providers may or may not be secrets, but they are unknown unless they are opened, at which point we will know whether or not they are secrets.
