even as an AWS-centric developer, i don't really trust amazon and generally prefer to diversify my vendor base

I wouldn’t as it still just generates cloud formation templates to accomplish its tasks and debugging that can be a daunting task. But at least they are acknowledging the fact that people want to use a real programming language to code their infrastructure

Caught my eye as there are a lot of similarities. But yet differences too. Storing State still seems to be superior method for managing/maintaining infrastructure
