Hi everyone - We recently posted a new blog about the pulumi-eks package for easily provisioning EKS clusters, which is now available in all languages! 🎉 But also noteworthy is the feature that forms the foundation of this update - what we’re internally dubbing “multi-language components.” This feature, which is still in development and not yet generally available, will enable easily building reusable components that can be shared across the entire Pulumi ecosystem and all languages. If you’re interested, the blog post goes into some detail about this feature and where its development is heading next. Enjoy! pulumipus 8bit read the blog --> https://www.pulumi.com/blog/create-eks-clusters-in-your-favorite-language/

I’ve really been looking forward to this underlying feature! I think it’s going to be one of the defining features of Pulumi 🙂

I am looking for multi-language components already for a year or so
this will be must have for pulumi next-gen

We’ve got a lot of the underlying parts done now, and are still working on the authorship experience. We should have more concrete details ready to announce in the next few months.

The EKS package handles a lot of the adjacent infrastructure and configuration as well. That part hasn’t changed much from the TypeScript package that’s been available the past couple years. The main difference is that it’s now usable from all Pulumi-supported languages.
