@millions-judge-24978 I just tried to publish an official version of pulumi-github to Pypi and it seems I can't because you alread yregistered a package with the same name 😕
By any chance can you add https://pypi.org/user/pulumi/ to the maintainers? I'd like to cut a 1.0.0 asap!
m
Sure, just added. Is this coming from a different repo?
b
github.com/pulmi/pulumi-github - this was created without understanding you had created one
this was an oversight in my comms
m
Ah okay, yeah here’s the thread where I was working on it https://pulumi-community.slack.com/archives/CB81H6DG9/p1587061248042500 In any case I’m happy to not own it.
b
I'm sorry I dropped the ball on this 😕
FWIW, I am finally creating a set of materials on how we can enable this to be smoother
m
No worries, I just want it to exist!
b
so I will cut a 1.0 and add the docs tomorrow morning UK time
I would be mre than happy to add you to the provider as someone to help maintain it
m
That’s alright, maybe if I find myself needing or wanting to contribute often down the road you can add me. I just made pulumi an owner instead of maintainer for the pypi repo.
b
you are a star sir, that you!!
m
No problem, let me know if there’s anything else, but I think that’s the only non-namespaced repo.
b
👌

@broad-dog-22463 I guess the packages haven’t been published yet? I can’t find the NPM package: https://www.npmjs.com/search?q=%40pulumi%2Fgithub
b
You can't see this @limited-rainbow-51650 https://www.npmjs.com/package/@pulumi/github ?
l
@broad-dog-22463 yes I can. Strange that this package doesn’t pop up using the search results.
b
that is indeed weird...
